Clifford Thau has joined Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt as a partner in the litigation and dispute resolution practice, the firm said Wednesday.
Thau, who served as managing partner of Vinson & Elkins’ New York office, focuses his practice on securities litigation and internal investigations, according to Tannenbaum Helpern.
He represents both corporations and individuals in commercial litigation in the financial services, media, real estate, and energy industries, said the firm. Thau’s clients include issuers, underwriters, officers and directors, securities and private equity firms, and audit and special committees.
