Ex-SEC Official Michele Anderson Jumps to Latham & Watkins

Michele Anderson will join Latham & Watkins as a partner in Washington, D.C., the law firm announced Tuesday.

Anderson joins from the US Securities and Exchange Commission, where she served as corporate finance associate director as well as mergers and acquisitions chief, Latham said.

“Serving for 24 years at the SEC was an enormous privilege and honor,” Anderson said in a statement announcing the move. “I look forward to joining a team of problem-solvers who thrive on helping clients navigate their toughest securities law challenges.”
