Ex-SEC Commissioner, ESG Advocate, Joins Whistleblower Firm (1)

Allison Herren Lee, a former commissioner at the Securities and Exchange Commission who has advocated for investor rights and tougher climate change disclosures, joined a Washington-based law firm that advises whistleblowers.

Lee, who started at whistleblower law firm Kohn, Kohn & Colapinto in March, will represent whistleblowers in capital market cases, including those brought before the SEC. Lee won’t participate in SEC cases until July because of restrictions under an ethics rule.
