Ex-Pomerantz Associate Accused of Rape Is Denied Anonymity (1)

A federal judge denied former Pomerantz LLP associate Thomas Przybylowski’s motions that would seal his identity in an ongoing lawsuit alleging sexual assault, according to a Monday filing.

US District Judge Jeannette Vargas denied Przybylowski’s motions, in which he sought to have a pseudonym replace his real name in court filings and bar the attorney accusing him of the assault from disclosing his identity. He sought the anonymity out of fear for his safety and concern that it would be “nearly impossible” to get a job with his name attached to the lawsuit, the filing said.
