Ex-Microsoft Litigation, Compliance Chief Joins Morgan Lewis

David Howard has joined Morgan Lewis as a partner in the Seattle, Wash., office, the firm said Wednesday.

Howard previously served as Microsoft’s corporate vice president and deputy general counsel for litigation, competition law, and compliance worldwide, according to Morgan Lewis.

Prior to his time at Microsoft, he led Dechert’s white collar and securities litigation practice. There, he represented clients in civil and criminal matters, including grand jury investigations and prosecutions, and US Securities and Exchange Commission investigations, said the firm.
