Joe Swanson has joined Foley & Lardner as a partner in the innovative technology capabilities and government enforcement defense and investigations practice in Tampa, Fla., the law firm said Monday.
Swanson advises on litigation and regulatory inquiries related to data breaches, ransomware attacks, and phishing attacks, according to Foley & Lardner. He also represents clients in government and criminal investigations and conducts internal investigations, said the firm.
He joins from Carlton Fields. Prior to this, he served as an assistant attorney in the US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.
