Ex-Energy Department Top Lawyer Joins Bill Barr’s Torridon Firm

Torridon Law hired veteran energy lawyer Bill Cooper as a partner in Washington, the firm announced Thursday.

Cooper served as the Energy Department’s general counsel during President Donald Trump’s first term. He joins Torridon, the firm founded by former Attorney General Bill Barr, following a stint at Golden Pass LNG LLC, a joint venture between QatarEnergy and Exxon Mobil.
