Kenneth A. Polite Jr. will join Sidley Austin as a partner and global co-leader of the white collar government litigation and investigations practice, the firm said Monday.
Polite previously served two years as assistant attorney general for the US Department of Justice’s criminal division, according to Sidley. He led criminal investigations and prosecutions in cases involving securities fraud, healthcare fraud, public corruption, and intellectual property theft.
He will focus on white collar criminal defense, investigation, and compliance matters at the firm, said Sidley.
