An appeal by the fired head of the Justice Department’s bankruptcy watchdog program, who was seeking reinstatement, was dismissed by a federal board until decisions are made in similar pending cases.
Tara Twomey’s administrative appeal of her termination was thrown out while an underlying legal question is litigated, but it will be automatically refiled around May 20, 2026, a Merit Systems Protection Board administrative judge said in a Thursday decision obtained by Bloomberg Law.
