Lynn Parker Dupree has joined Finnegan LLP as a partner in the privacy practice, which she will lead, the firm said Wednesday.
Dupree was previously the chief privacy officer at the Department of Homeland Security, where she advised the secretary of Homeland Security on matters involving privacy for the department and ensured compliance with privacy laws, regulations, and federal guidance, according to Finnegan.
She also served as the director of governance and controls at Capital One, executive director at the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, and deputy associate counsel for presidential personnel in the Obama administration, said the firm. ...
