Armstrong Teasdale’s former diversity leader is suing the law firm for race and sex discrimination.
Sonji Young accuses the firm of a pattern of discriminatory behavior under then managing partner Patrick Rasche. Young, who served as the firm’s vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion for two years, filed the complaint last week in the Circuit Court of St. Louis, Missouri.
Young said firm leadership withheld training, a facilities badge, and investment in DEI programming. She also accused firm members of subjecting her to a hostile work environment, according to the complaint.
