Eversheds Sutherland Grows Tax Practice With Controversy Team

Hale Sheppard, Cassandra Bradford, and Samuel Grier joined Eversheds Sutherland as partners in its tax practice group in Atlanta, the firm announced Monday.

The team represents taxpayers in tax audits, appeals, and litigation in domestic and international matters. They handle high-profile tax disputes, particularly Internal Revenue Service coordinated domestic issues including conservation easements, employee retention credits, and Opportunity Zone disputes, the firm said.

The partners are joined by two counsels and seven associates.
