Anthony Del Giudice joined Eversheds Sutherland as a partner in its litigation practice group in its education team, the firm announced Monday.
Del Giudice will advise colleges and universities on regulatory, compliance, contractual, and litigation matters related to college sports, the firm said.
He will also provide guidance on name, image, and likeness arrangements and direct compensation of athletes as well as counseling institutions on developing strategies to reduce NCAA violations and litigation.
He joins from the National Collegiate Athletic Association, where he served as associate director of enforcement.
