Taylor Kiessig rejoined Eversheds Sutherland as a partner in its tax practice group in Washington, D.C., the firm announced Tuesday.
Kiessig returns to Eversheds Sutherland after serving as special counsel in the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where he drafted guidance addressing US international tax matters and supported major international tax initiatives. He will counsel companies across industries such as technology, manufacturing, financial services, life sciences, energy, and consumer products on complex cross-border tax issues and evolving international tax rules, the firm said.
