Estée Lauder Doled Out $11 Million to Hire Kraft Heinz Law Head

Rashida La Lande, hired a year ago by Estée Lauder Cos. as the cosmetics giant’s new general counsel, earned almost $10.9 million in total compensation in her first year on the job.

Estée Lauder disclosed in a late Thursday proxy filing that La Lande received a $2.8 million cash bonus to join the company and leave her former position at Kraft Heinz Inc. La Lande’s pay package at Estée Lauder includes more than $6 million in long-term equity awards that will vest in future years.
