Equinox Holdings Inc., a luxury fitness and health club chain, as of Monday saw its top lawyer Yen Chu become chief legal officer for Tailored Brands Inc., owner of men’s apparel retailers Jos. A. Bank and Men’s Wearhouse.
An Equinox spokesman said the New York-based company is conducting a search to find a replacement for Chu, who officially joined Tailored Brands as of Dec. 26.
Chu has been the lead lawyer for Equinox—owner of its namesake gym brand and other workout regimes like SoulCycle, Pure Yoga, and Blink Fitness—for five years.
