Scott Watson has joined Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in the environmental department in Grand Rapids, Mich., the firm said Monday.
Watson advises clients on regulatory and litigation matters involving federal and state environmental laws, including the National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, and Michigan’s National Resources and Environmental Protection Act, according to Barnes & Thornburg.
His practice spans a variety of traditional environmental law matters, including the cleanup of contaminated property and mediation, arbitration, and litigation that arises from cleanups, the firm said.
