Entertainment Attorney Bryan Freedman, UTA Accused of Defamation

Bryan Freedman, a high-profile entertainment litigator representing United Talent Agency Inc., allegedly spread lies about Michael Kassan, who left the powerhouse agency earlier in March, in an attempt hamper Kassan’s new ventures, according to a complaint filed by Kassan.

Bryan Freedman allegedly called Kassan a “pathological liar,” to a Deadline reporter, a remark that was published March 25 and is at the center of the alleged libel and slander complaint filed by Kassan in Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
