Anna Els joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough as a partner in its estate planning and trusts team in Naples, the firm announced Monday.

Els advises high-net-worth individuals and families on estate and gift tax planning, family business succession, and philanthropic planning. She counsels clients on structuring and managing complex personal financial matters, both domestically and internationally, helping families preserve wealth and achieve long-term financial and charitable objectives, the firm said.

She previously worked at Akerman LLP, according to that firm’s web postings.
