Dykema Guides Ocean Biomedical on Post-SPAC Nasdaq Launch

Dykema Gossett advised biotech company Ocean Biomedical, Inc., on the launch last week of its initial public offering on the Nasdaq Capital Market following the company’s recent merger with a special purpose acquisition company.

Ocean Biomedical, a Providence, Rhode Island-based medical research innovation incubator, and Aesther Healthcare Acquisition Corp., a New York-based SPAC advised by Nelson Mullins LLP, said earlier in February that a Feb. 3 meeting of their shareholders had approved their merger, which was announced in August 2022.
