DWT Grabs Intellectual Property Partner Duo From Knobbe Martens

Maria Anderson and Mauricio Uribe joined Davis Wright Tremaine as intellectual property partners in Seattle, the firm announced Wednesday.

Anderson develops and defends patent and trademark portfolios for clients ranging from individual inventors to large companies across industries. She guides clients through financing rounds and IPOs, counsels on patentability and infringement matters, and creates IP programs for pre-litigation, licensing, and enforcement purposes.

Uribe specializes in developing, reviewing, and licensing standards essential patents worldwide and works with various industries and technologies, including medical devices, financial services, software, and AI/ML, the firm said.

They join from Knobbe Martens.
