Dunkin’ Legal Chief Trades Donut Gig for Angel Investing (2)

Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc.’s top lawyer left to become an investor in startups more than a year after Inspire Brands Inc. bought the company known for its donuts and coffee.

W. David Mann recently joined Launchpad Venture Group LLC, a Boston-based angel investment network that provides funding to early-stage companies. He confirmed he’s a Launchpad member, not an employee, and said the Boston area has “amazing entrepreneurial energy.”
