The Duane Morris partner who sued the firm over her status as a non-equity partner has left the law firm, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Meagan Garland left earlier this year, according to the person, who requested anonymity to discuss a personnel matter. An email Bloomberg Law sent to Garland’s firm account bounced back, stating she is “no longer with” Duane Morris.

Garland sued the firm in July 2024, alleging the firm intentionally misclassified her as a non-equity partner to reduce its business expenses and tax costs. Her suit also claims the firm underpays ...
