Dropbox Inc. disclosed in a securities filing Friday that its chief legal officer Bart Volkmer will leave as of March 28 and be succeeded by William Yoon.
Volkmer referred a request for comment about his post-Dropbox plans to the San Francisco-based company, which didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Dropbox is known for its cloud storage and file sharing services.
Volkmer joined Dropbox in 2011 as head of litigation and regulatory and was named general counsel five years later following the departure of Ramsey Homsany, who was the first lawyer ever hired by the company.
