DraftKings Adds Cozen AG Group Leader for Responsible Gaming Job

DraftKings Inc. announced Monday its hire of Lori Kalani, a partner at Cozen O’Connor and co-chair of the law firm’s state attorneys general practice, as its first chief “responsible gaming” officer.

The newly created role will see Kalani work alongside the daily fantasy sports provider’s compliance team to implement consumer safety and protection practices for players across its platforms, DraftKings said. Kalani is a consumer protection expert who has worked at Cozen since 2015, when she formed its state AG group, having previously spent almost a decade at Dish Network.
