Medical technology company Doximity Inc. answered OpenEvidence Inc.'s trade secrets suit with counterclaims alleging an extensive and blatant misinformation campaign, harassment of Doximity employees, and public disclosure of patients’ information.
OpenEvidence repeatedly lied about Doximity and its own services, including misrepresentations that it secures user and patient information, Doximity said in a filing Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. It pointed to “strange” emails from OpenEvidence founder Daniel Nadler that taunted Doximity’s general counsel, as well as numerous, mostly unsuccessful efforts to poach employees via unsolicited texts offering million-dollar bonuses.
