Dominion Must Build More to Meet Demand, Executive Says (1)

Dominion Energy must build to meet rising energy demand from data centers, Executive Vice President Corynne Arnett said Wednesday during an energy focused conference.

Arnett’s comments come as utilities and regulators are navigating a myriad of ways to tackle rising energy demand, with one solution being building more generation.

Dominion Energy and NextEra Energy Inc. announced a major utility deal earlier this week, with NextEra agreeing to pay about $67 billion in stock for Dominion.
