DOL Releases Anti-Harassment Guide for Construction Contractors

The US Department of Labor’s contractor watchdog outlined its authority to combat harassment in the construction industry and ways for federal contractors to comply with relevant anti-discrimination laws in a newly issued guide.

The laws and regulations of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, which enforces anti-bias laws for companies that do business with the federal government, applies to construction contractors who meet certain thresholds related to contract dollar amount and number of employees, the office said in the guide released Thursday.
