Elon Musk’s government efficiency team now faces a longer prohibition against wholesale access to sensitive personal information from the Social Security Administration, which administers retirement payments and other benefits.

The Department of Government Efficiency had its access to Social Security data temporarily frozen again as Judge Ellen Hollander of the US District Court for the District of Maryland granted a longer injunction than the temporary restraining order originally in place, according to an order issued late Thursday.
