DLA Piper Taps Mike Walsh as National Security, Trade Partner

Mike Walsh joined DLA Piper as a partner in its national security and global trade practice in Washington, the firm announced Wednesday.

Walsh advises clients on inbound US investment strategy, US export controls, and US trade policy. He represents US and multinational companies, sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms, and venture capital funds on Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States matters, export controls, and interactions with government agencies, the firm said.

During the first Trump administration, he served concurrently as chief of staff and acting general counsel at the Commerce Department.
