Nick Sheets joined DLA Piper as a partner in its investment funds practice in Palo Alto, Calif., the firm announced Thursday.
Sheets advises US, Asian, and other global institutional sponsors in connection with the structuring, formation, and offering of private investment funds, as well as in co-investments and secondaries transactions, the firm said.
He also represents institutional investors in connection with their investments in private investment funds. His practice focuses on a range of strategies including private equity, growth capital, venture capital, real estate, credit, fund-of-funds, and social impact funds.
