DLA Piper Hires Maria Cornilsen as Leveraged Finance Partner

Maria Cornilsen joined DLA Piper as a partner in its leveraged finance practice in New York, the firm announced Jan. 15.

Cornilsen represents investment and commercial banks, private credit funds and direct lenders, growth lenders and other financial institutions, as well as public and private corporate borrowers, the firm said.

She works with a range of debt financing transactions in the US and European broadly syndicated and private credit markets, including leveraged and investment grade acquisition and general corporate finance, bridge lending and venture and growth lending, and secured and unsecured credit facilities.
