John Hutar has joined DLA Piper as a corporate practice partner in the firm’s Palo Alto, California office, the firm said Thursday.
Hutar counsels high-growth tech companies on pre-incorporation planning, general corporate and venture capital financing, and mergers and acquisitions. He also represents venture capital funds, growth equity funds and strategic investors in transactions, according to DLA Piper.
He has advised numerous tech companies in their $1 billion to $10 billion public and private financings, the firm said.
