DLA Piper Expands Real Estate Practice With Two NYC Partners

Dennis Kiely and Heather Horowitz are joining DLA Piper as partners in the firm’s real estate practice in New York, the firm said Wednesday.

Kiely focuses on the acquisition, financing, and development of domestic and international real estate interests, with a big portion of his practice involving advising investors from South Korea, according to DLA Piper.

Horowitz advises investment banks, private equity funds and other institutional lenders in the acquisition, origination, disposition and restructuring of mortgage and mezzanine construction, the firm said.

Alex Kaplan is also joining DLA Piper as of counsel in its Washington office, the firm said. ...
