DLA Piper elects London-based Charles Severs as its next co-chief executive officer, the law firm announced today.
Severs will serve alongside Frank Ryan, a New York-based partner who was reelected to a second term as co-CEO earlier this year. Severs will officially begin in the role January 2025.
He overcame Paris-based partner Stéphane Lemarchand, who was also vying for the role. Severs, an M&A lawyer, joined the firm in 2003.
