DLA Piper Adds Insurance Finance Partner Fettman in New York

Robert Fettman joined DLA Piper as a partner in its structured finance practice in New York, the firm announced Tuesday.

Fettman’s practice sits at the crossroads of insurance and financial services, advising on US insurance regulatory matters including regulatory treatment of investments, product development and filing strategies, corporate governance, compliance, and licensing requirements. He guides public and private insurers, private equity sponsors, and pension funds through complex acquisitions, minority investments, and other strategic transactions in the life and property/casualty sectors, the firm said.
