Disco Recruits Legal Leader a Year After Founder’s Abrupt Exit

CS Disco Inc., a legal technology company that abruptly parted ways with a co-founder and former chief executive a year ago, has hired Susan Garcia as its new general counsel and chief compliance officer.

Disco, as the company known for electronic discovery services is known, announced Thursday its addition of Garcia. She joins a management team that earlier this year named a new chief executive in Eric Friedrichsen. He replaced Kiwi Camara, a Philippines-born lawyer and the youngest-ever graduate of Harvard Law School, who stepped down in September 2023.
