Dewey & LeBoeuf Ex-Partner Sues Defunct Firm Alleging Fraud

SAN FRANCISCO—Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP leadership engaged in a Ponzi scheme and used fraud and deceit to keep attorneys and entice lawyers to join the firm, a former partner alleged in a June 12 California Superior Court lawsuit (Bunsow v. Davis, Cal. Super. Ct., No. CGC-12-521540).

Henry Bunsow, an intellectual property attorney formerly with the San Francisco office, contends he was recruited to join Dewey without being told true performance figures.
