Departing Viacom GC To Be Paid Two Years’ Salary

Viacom’s General Counsel Michael Fricklas may be on his way out the door, but that doesn’t mean he’s off the payroll — not for another two years.

“Viacom will continue to pay Mr. Fricklas’ salary at the rate in effect on the date of termination for 24 months following the termination date,” according to an 8-K filed by the company on Mar. 3.

That works out to about $2.6 million, according to his most recently disclosed salary.
