NY Ammunition Background Check Requirement Can Continue (2)

The Second Circuit on Wednesday refused to temporarily halt New York’s law requiring background checks for every ammunition purchase.

The New York State Firearms Association and four individual gun owners failed to show “the modest conditions the ammunition background check provisions impose on the commercial sale of ammunition meaningfully constrain their right to keep and bear arms,” wrote Judge Joseph F. Bianco.
