Neel Maitra has joined Dechert as a partner in the financial services practice group in Washington, D.C., the firm said Tuesday.
Maitra, who focuses on the fintech and financial services sectors, advises on securities matters, according to Dechert.
He was a senior special counsel and crypto specialist at the SEC.
