Day Pitney Grows IP Practice With Life Sciences Patent Trio

Christopher Cowles and Richard Emmons joined Day Pitney as partners in its intellectual property and technology practice group in Boston, the firm announced Monday. Erica Fishel also joined as an associate.

Cowles counsels biotechnology companies and academic clients in nucleic acid therapeutics, immunotherapy, genomics, and personalized medicine sectors. He advises on patent preparation, prosecution, IP due diligence, portfolio management, and freedom-to-operate analyses, the firm said.
