Day Pitney Brings On Green as Energy Partner in Washington, DC

Valerie L. Green has joined Day Pitney as a partner with the energy and utilities practice in Washington, D.C., the firm said Monday.

Green focuses her practice on electricity, natural gas, renewable energy, and regulatory and compliance issues involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and other administrative agencies and regulatory authorities, according to Day Pitney.

She has experience with regulation under the Federal Power Act, the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act, Natural Gas Act, the Natural Gas Policy Act of 1978, and FERC’s regulations implementing those statutory regimes, Day Pitney said.
