Batur Oktay joined Davis Wright Tremaine as a partner in its media, entertainment, patent, trademark, and advertising group in Seattle, the firm announced Tuesday.
Oktay advises C-suite executives, technology leaders, and boards of directors on strategy, complex commercial and intellectual property matters, global product launches, high-stakes litigation, and key partnerships, the firm said.
He joins from Rad Power Bikes, where he was general counsel, vice president, and corporate secretary, according to his LinkedIn profile. He spent nearly two decades at Starbucks and oversaw the company’s global intellectual property program
