Davis Wright Hires First Chief Diversity Officer (1)

Davis Wright Tremaine brought on former Holland & Knight diversity chief Yusuf Zakir as its first chief diversity and inclusion officer as more law firms look to address the lack of diversity in their ranks.

Zakir moves from Holland & Knight, where he joined in 2019 as director of diversity from Latham & Watkins. At Latham, he served as the manager of global diversity, recruiting and engagement for nearly four years.
