Davis Polk Recruits Jillian Merns as Trusts, Estates Partner

Jillian Merns joined Davis Polk as a partner and co-head of its trusts and estates practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Merns’ practice focuses on estate planning and administration for high-net-worth individuals and families, including preparing complex wills, trusts and related instruments, and advising on estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax matters. She represents clients in estate and gift tax audits and counsels on estate and trust administration, and advises on the creation and counseling of family offices, the firm said.

She joins from Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
