Davis Polk Adds Partners From Latham to M&A, Finance Practices

Thomas J. Malone and David J. Penna have joined Davis Polk as partners from Latham & Watkins, the firm said Monday.

Malone joins Davis Polk as a partner with the mergers and acquisitions practice, a role which he also held at Latham in addition to being a part of the private equity team, according to Davis Polk. He represents private equity funds, public and private companies, and boards of directors.

Penna, who joins Davis Polk’s finance practice, served as global co-chair of the project development and finance practice at Latham. He focuses on project development, financing and M&A transactions in the energy, power, and infrastructure sectors, representing sponsors, lenders, developers, multinational corporations, and governmental entities, Davis Polk said.
