Cozen O’Connor will sponsor a second PGA Tour player, Jason Kokrak, who’s ranked 31st in the FedEx Cup rankings, the firm announced today.
It’s already sponsoring William McGirt, who was the first PGA Tour player to be sponsored by a big law firm.
“Sponsoring a PGA Tour player exceeded all of our expectations,” Michael Heller, the firm’s executive chairman and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
“While the reaction from our clients, prospective laterals, and the business community at large was incredible, the energy and excitement of all of our colleagues around the country made it all worthwhile,” Heller said.
Kokrak, who joined the PGA Tour in 2012, is currently taking part in the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head, S.C., where he’ll be wearing the firm logo on his shirt.
Cozen O’Connor has more than 700 attorneys in 29 offices on two continents.
