Cozen Adds Cohen to Its SEC Enforcement Practice in New York

Alexander Cohen has joined Cozen O’Connor’s securities litigation and SEC enforcement practice as a member in New York, the firm said Monday.

Cohen, a securities enforcement regulatory attorney, has represented leading financial institutions, broker-dealers, and public companies in a range of Justice Department, FINRA, and SEC-related regulatory matters, according to the firm.

He has represented a national broker-dealer in a FINRA sweep investigation involving its mutual fund platform, as well as a dually registered broker-dealer and investment adviser in a SEC sweep investigation concerning its employees’ off-channel business communications activity, the firm said.
