Lawyers William Sturman and Kelly Labritz are joining Clifford Chance from Covington & Burling as funds and investment management partners in New York, the firm said Monday.
Sturman, who was a corporate partner and chair of Covington’s private funds and investments group, advises sponsors of private investment funds covering asset classes including buyouts, growth capital, and real estate, according to Clifford Chance.
Labritz focuses on restructuring transactions and secondary single-asset and portfolio acquisition and sale transactions, representing private fund sponsors, according to the law firm.
